The VW Combi is without doubt Westfalia’s most iconic vehicle. It all began in 1951 when Westfalia decided to transform a simple Volkswagen van into a complete leisure vehicle, meeting the needs of the adventurers of the time.
\nThe result was the brand’s first combi van, equipped with a sofa bed, a fold-down table, a bench seat and distinctive checked fabrics. This model, known as the “Camping Box”, was an instant success in Europe and the United States, quickly becoming the vehicle of choice for outdoor enthusiasts<\/strong> and combi surfers on the beaches of California.
\nThe following years saw the development of several versions of Westfalia combi, including the T1, T2, T3 and T4.
